This year, nearly 800 respondents provide insight to challenges and changes faced after a turbulent year around the globe.
Study Highlights:
The top challenge is not a technology challenge – it’s the skills gap. Organizations report that the growing skills gap is impacting their ability to troubleshoot network performance problems. This points to a need for increased simplicity and automation that helps teams with mixed levels of expertise.
More than half of the organizations responding were affected by the Sunburst Attack. Security breaches continue to rise, requiring even more teamwork between NetOps/SecOps and DevOps. War rooms persist and the ability to identify, contain and resolve security issues is taking more time than ever.
Despite the turbulence, there is cause for optimism. Impacts of the pandemic are forcing increased and accelerated investments in new technologies and IT budgets are increasing to fund these initiatives.
